Normal Motors and Honda are expanding their electrical car partnership.
The automakers introduced programs Tuesday to co-build a new line of economical EVs that will launch in 2027.
Honda is previously working with GM on battery advancement and the electric powered Prologue compact SUV that is scheduled to go on sale in 2024.
Honda also owns a stake in GM’s Cruise autonomous car division, which will provide self-driving taxis to Honda for use in Japan.
Specifics on the new models had been not exposed, but the corporations stated some will be designed in North America and some will be priced under the future Chevrolet Equinox EV, which will start off below $30,000 when it goes on sale future 12 months.
